Tree Studios will no longer be taking orders as I head to Field Road to take a seat as director for my community, Roberts Creek, on the board of our local government, the Sunshine Coast Regional District. Over the next 4 years I hope to create positive change for the people I serve and still find time to get to the forge a few hours a week. Although it has been an honour building the beautiful things I have made for my clients these last 12 years, I plan on creating some of the designs I have been stockpiling from long before that. I will post pieces I build "on spec" and where you can find them in the real world (some will be in showrooms in Vancouver, some here). I do hope to participate in the Art Crawl again, just not this year, same goes for teaching.
